In Manhattan, this is unique. There are a handful of houses like this on the UES. I love seeing them among the brownstones and highrises, like a little piece of the past or the suburbs sneaking in among the rest.

A unique photo indeed! I imagine this to be a nice juxtaposition against the highrises and bright lights that make-up so much of Manhattan.
They just look so out of place. I like to imagine living there and sitting on a porch swing in the middle of the city.
