Lest anyone is feeling bad about how much “screen time” their children are getting, or about zoning out for 20 minutes, or about not making organic, locally-grown lunches in the shape of farm animals – this is what my kids are up to.
Also, I fed them donuts.
If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be closing my eyes for five minutes and tuning out the dueling sounds of The Gummy Bear Song and Special Agent Oso.
Sometimes, this is just the way it is.
Ha! The Gummy Bear Song! My son loves to watch that on youtube. Shhh . . . it’s our little secret! 😉
Lol! I don’t mind that song, but he put on “Gummy Style” and I had to draw the line.
School starts next week for us, and I’ve now given my kids free reign to all electronic devices. Material for my Mom of the Year file! ha!
Hey, a little freedom will be good before they’re in school all day, right? My husband and I keep saying it’s a new world and they’ll need these skills. Trying to keep positive.

LOL! Glad to read this today on a morning I allowed my son to eat mashed potatoes….mom of the year? 🙂
Sounds like a good breakfast to me!
I just call that “survival.”
Exactly!
