An Idea…and I Need Your Help

So, I’ve been wanting to do some more with this little blog of mine. It’s been five years (yes five, yes years) going now and I think it’s about time for a few changes.

I’ve been really enjoying participating in the some of the things other blogs do (Project Optimism, Blog Hops, Etc.) and so I’d like to do something of my own. I played around a few times with an entry I called “Right Now” (see here, here, and here) and I’d like to keep that going and extend it to all of you.

One of my favorite things about blogging and about reading other blogs is the glimpses I give of my own life and those that I get of the lives of others. I’ve been fortunate to hook up with bloggers (mostly moms, but not all) from all over the world and to learn about their lives in ways I didn’t realize were possible.

What I propose is that we all share one little image of our lives on a certain day each week and in turn I’ll share links to those here for others to see and participate as well. This Thursday, September 19, at any time of the day, take a photo of what is going on around you “right now.” Post the photo with the title “Right Now:” followed by the time the photo was taken and tag it with “right now.” You can give more context or not, it’s up to you. I’ll create a page here with links to all of the participating blogs and we can all get a bit of a better idea of the daily lives we all live.
